I'm a creative at heart with a passion for storytelling.

Since 2013 I’ve led marketing, strategic, and creative teams to help tell the stories of brands – more often than not, for brands with rather complex products. Making technology fun, relatable, and easy to get excited about is something that comes natural to me.

I cut my teeth in marketing and community building while working at Kickstarter – the crowdfunding platform – where I completed my tenure as the Director of the Design and Technology Outreach Team. Over those four years I advised over 200 crowdfunding campaigns with many launches grossing well over $1M raised in 30 days. Before departing Kickstarter, I spearheaded a program with Avnet to develop Hardware Studio - a platform to connect startups launching on Kickstarter with the manufacturing, support and funding they needed.

Since then I’ve gone on to work in digital fabrication alonside founders like Bre Petis (Makerbot) and Joe Hebenstreit (Google Glass), and continuing to develop and deploy creative marketing solutions for businesses, which scale and drive meaningful results.

I’m a firm believer that to launch anything well it requires the right mix of good storytelling, clear strategy, and a commitment to community/customer outreach.

And now for some fun facts about me:

  • I’m the co-creator of a single station radio called The Public Radio. As a side hustle, my partner and I built and shipped over 15K of these laughably Brooklyn devices. We even established B2B relationships with 5 out of the top 10 NPR stations in the US to support pledge drive efforts.

  • I’ve played the drums on and off since I was in 5th grade. When I was 18 my banded opened for acts like the Wailers, and Taj Mahal at our local venue.

  • I’m an alumni of the School for Poetic Computation, Bard College and many bands you’ve probably never heard of.

  • I have two kids and live on an island in the Pacific Northwest
